The EXTREME JACKET from northwave was developed so that you can ride your bike on winter roads and off-road trails without freezing. The design of the SELECTIVE PROTECTION thermal jacket makes it ideal for a layered look, and you can regulate the ventilation of your body using the two front zips. The thermal cycling jacket has a clever 3-layer material mix for protection and flexibility in cold conditions. The strategically placed H2O FLEX membrane also ensures that you stay extra warm in the right places and are protected from the cold and splashing water. Thermal sealed cuffs and an additional water-repellent finish round off this warm cycling jacket perfectly.

Highlights & Technologies:

SELECTIVE PROTECTION:
The windproof membrane is only positioned in special, strategically important areas and is not on the entire garment.

H2O FLEX:
The four-way stretch characteristics of the membrane allow for a great fit, particularly high freedom of movement and protection from rain and wheel spray up to a water column of approx. 10,000 mm. This allows the membrane to keep you pleasantly warm and wick excess moisture off to the outside for a warm and dry feeling.

DWR PFC FREE FINISH:
PFC is a group of chemicals acting as intermediates, auxiliary materials or breakdown products of certain fluorocarbon compounds. They are used in garment production to impregnate clothing due to their durable water- and grease-repellent properties. However, PFC residues are non-biodegradable and may be harmful. Northwave uses a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) impregnation that is free of PFC.

The reflective design elements attached to the clothing as decoration do not represent a personal protective equipment as mentioned in EU regulation 2016/425. Thus, they are also not covered by the provisions of the regulation.
